Join us at our favorite Little Tokyo spot, Azay for an 曖昧 (aimai) evening of live music and deep connection, delicious bites and drinks and a finely curated experience by your hosts Kyoko, Philip Leslie and Alex.
“曖昧” is an intentional third space to connect and share all that can be communicated beyond words. It is a japanese word we cherish that roughly translates to: can’t quite put your finger on it; subtlety, spaciousness, or abstract. It’s a way for us to bring to our LA community the parts we miss about the ways we decompress in Japan. Inspired by listening bars, jazz kissatens, or our neighborhood bar turned performance venues, we hope you will stay for the entire experience and share the subtle moments with someone.
