Hideki Sekijima is a singer songwriter who debuted with Teichiku Records in 1979 with the song "Ajisaidera". He has continued to write and sing ballads centered around his love of nature, his native homeland and other beautiful landscapes of Japan, and his love for family. He is most famous for his song "Kaeranjyayoka", sung by Aya Shimizu, a top enka singer of Japan, who performed the song at the 2015 Kohaku Uta Gassen, or annual NHK Red and White Song Battle.
